St. Edward Catholic School

Today’s theme for Catholic Schools Week was “Our Students Rock!” We loved seeing all of our faculty and staff dressed in their favorite singer, musician, or band shirts.

Today some of our student representatives joined Mrs. Williams and Ms. Clark at the all school Mass at St. Agnes. This is Mass is celebrated yearly in celebration of Catholic Schools Week.

We love celebrating during Catholic Schools Week! Today we are celebrating our Catholic schools. We are also celebrating our students being 100 days smarter (wearing 100 things on their shirts or dressing like 100 year old people).

Students in Ms. G’s STEM class recently built robots using their VEX Robotics kits. After building the robots, students were able to compete against each other in a game of robot soccer. They had to use their controllers to operate their robots and move a cube to the goal. Check out our Open House on January 30th from 5-7 to learn more about the awesome things our students are learning in our classrooms.

Looking for a night out? Let the St. Edward Girl Scouts take care of the kids! This Saturday, Dec. 2, 5:00-8:30! Open to kids ages 3-10!

Join us this Friday, November 10 at 9:00 am to honor our Veterans with a patriotic performance by St. Edward students, led by Music Teacher, Ms. Hatzell. The program will be in the St. Edward Gym.

It's Red Ribbon Week! Celebrate being drug-free! Students who participate in all five dress up days will be entered into a drawing for a prize at the end of the week! Middle school students will receive bonus house points for participating in dress up days!

Don't forget to come out to St. Edward for our annual Trunk or Treat! Lots of friends, candy, and fun! Friday, October 27 6:00-9:00!!

ON SALE NOW - Fall Feast Day Raffle Tickets! You have a chance to win one of three prizes: $4,000 cash Free registration for 2024/25 school year or FREE Dress for a full month. Tickets will be sold for $25 each. BONUS! For each ticket a student sells, their name will go into a drawing for a chance to win a 4-pack admission tickets to Pumpkins @ Kentucky Kingdom and the class that sells the most tickets will receive a pizza party. The form will be emailed. Just fill out the form with the person's name that is purchasing the ticket and send it back to school with payment (cash/check - made out to St Edward) to ATTN Stephanie Burton. Ticket studs will be sent home with the oldest child.

First day on the ukulele for some 6th grade students! They look so happy! Our students love Ms. Hatzell's music class!

We have been so blessed to have Deacon Michael with us at St. Edward. Today after Mass, he blessed all of our classrooms.

Parent Orientation starts at 4:30 with a prayer service in the church followed by a few words from Mrs. Loper, teacher and staff introductions, and visits to classrooms to learn about the expectations for the school year! 💙💛
