Yesterday our 4th graders took their annual field trip to Frankfort! They have been learning about the government and Kentucky history.

Our 5th grade students spent the day at Junior Achievement Biztown! They did such a great job helping to run the city. They learned about businesses and how citizens work together in cities.

Today we are looking up to our heroes and how they choose a positive lifestyle. We love the comic book superheroes, but not all superheroes wear capes. Many of our students dressed as medical professionals, their teachers, first responders, and more. Quite a few dressed as their top superheroes and #1 fans-their parents
We kicked off Red Ribbon Week by wearing red! This is a national week to promote healthy lifestyles and avoiding drugs and other things that harm our bodies. Throughout the week, we are dressing in theme to promote our commitment to a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. ❤️

What St. Edward School means to us ...
When we started searching for schools for our son, we wanted to find a community that would help him grow into his greatest potential. We wanted to do that in a strong community setting where everyone encouraged each other and each and everyone was celebrated for their own achievements no matter what they would be.
Not only did we find that at St. Edward School, but we found a group of like minded families that foster growth and learning in a Christ centric environment.
Our son is not taught what to learn, but how to learn from the beginning. His confidence is built through classroom exercises and extracurricular activities.
One of my favorite school wide projects is called Braves Buddies, where younger classes are partnered with an older class and interact with each other through out the year. This may included reading time, playing time, or even a Brave Buddies Mass. It allows him to learn how to be a student not from being told, but from watching others. The older Brave buddies learn what it’s like to be looked up to and be an inspiring presence in their others life.
We are so thankful that we decided on St. Edward’s school for as it has become the best community to help our child become the best version of himself.

I was a graduate of St Edward, my daughter is now a graduate of St Edward and my son is currently a 7th grader there.
We chose St Edward for the small community that feels like family. It has been a place we call home for as long as I can remember. What we love most is the teachers, coaches, administrators, and church that invest in our children while teaching them so much more than academics. My children have made some of their very best friends here.
We can’t wait to welcome prospective parents today to tour our school! We have open tours 9:00-1:00 and 5:00-7:00. See how your child can shine at Saint Edward! ⭐️

Meet the Parents: Heather Culton We love the commitment to religious beliefs. It matches our family values. The small class sizes have made a huge difference for our child. He gets individualized attention which means his unique needs are noticed and supported. We were also impressed with the high academic standards seen throughout the school. Family values are emphasized and that helps create a welcoming environment. Our child feels safe, loved, and nurtured at St. Edward.

St. Edward Series: The Mock Family
When our family joined St. Edward in 2021, we were searching for a diverse, inclusive, academically strong school where our daughter would feel seen, welcomed, and valued. What we found was so much more—a loving, supportive community that truly feels like family!
Our daughter has built amazing friendships with classmates who are more like siblings. She loves her teachers, who encourage her to be her unique self, and most importantly, she genuinely loves going to school!
St. Edward offers so many opportunities for students to grow and explore their interests. From Girl Scouts, basketball, flag football, soccer, and track to the Harry Potter Book Club, Summer Art Club, and a summer writing program through Bellarmine University, our daughter has had incredible experiences!
As PTO President, Girl Scout troop leader, and sports coach, I also love how St. Edward welcomes and encourages parents to be involved.
We came looking for a great school, but we found our village! A place where our daughter can learn, grow, build lifelong friendships, and always feel loved and included.
Amazing job to our September Braves Care Class of the Month and Student Leaders of the Month! 2R celebrated their leadership with a popsicle party! Thank you to 2R and our Student Leaders for showing exceptional ❤️ Care for People, 🏫Care for Our School, and ⭐️Care for Yourself. Way to go, Braves!
