Congratulations to Ade Goring, a St. Edward alum and former Drama Club student, who is returning to Louisville to perform in the Broadway Series production of The Book of Mormon at the Kentucky Center. We are also proud to celebrate Abby Helfrick, a St. Edward student who received the 2026 KPA Bradley Award at Mercy Academy.
Ade’s story is an especially beautiful reminder of the impact teachers can have. After one of his St. Edward Drama Club performances, Ms. Ellis told him he was destined for the big stage one day. Now, years later, he is performing on a Broadway Series stage here in Louisville.
Stories like Ade’s and Abby’s remind us that teachers plant seeds of confidence, creativity, and courage, even when they may not always get to see how fully those seeds bloom. We are so proud of these Braves and grateful for the teachers who help our students discover and develop their gifts.
